Wael Abo Al-Magd is a highly accomplished Microbiology Laboratory Manager, Quality Assurance Expert, and Technical Consultant with more than 27 years of professional experience across water, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, dairy production, food safety, and accredited laboratory services. He possesses extensive expertise in laboratory management, microbiological testing, quality systems implementation, validation, accreditation, and operational excellence.
Currently serving as Microbiology Laboratory Manager at the Reference Laboratory of the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater (HCWW), Wael has played a key role in strengthening laboratory quality systems, improving analytical reliability, and supporting the accreditation of multiple laboratories in accordance with international standards. His expertise combines strong scientific knowledge with practical experience in auditing, validation, quality assurance, and laboratory leadership.
In addition to his technical and quality management expertise, Wael is actively involved in the development and establishment of new laboratory projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, providing consultancy services in laboratory start-up, business development, facility design, accreditation readiness, operational planning, and strategic growth.
